About
I am an Instructor of Public Health at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine. My research addresses aspects of health disparities among underserved populations.I utilize mixed methods in my research, particularly bioethical inquiry, social network analysis, and am exploring agent based models/ simulation. I am interested in the life course of chronic kidney disease and its public health implications. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Center for Ethical Solutions, and as an Associate Expert with Bioethics Beyond Borders. In the upcoming years, I intend to expand work in exploring the impact of social networks on patients in all phases of Chronic Kidney Disease and continue work in quality of life research. In addition, I plan to utilize social network and qualitative analyses to examine the diffusion of knowledge of living organ donation and related donation issues. I was a Visiting Scholar at the Hastings Center in August 2010 and a Graduate Scholar at the 2011 Aging and Society Conference (Berkeley).
